House Calls**Due to the current Covid 19 status we are limiting our housecalls and will not always be able offer them at all times.** At Bay Animal Hospital we understand that it is not always possible to bring your pet to the hospital. In these instances, we are happy to offer house calls, during which a doctor and technician will come to your home to provide necessary medical care for your pet. House calls also make veterinary care more accessible to people who are home bound, have mobility issues, or are unable to drive.

Laser TherapyWhat is Laser therapy?
laser therapy is the use of specific wavelengths of light to treat painful and debilitating conditions. How does it work? Light energy enters the damaged cells and stimulates inter-cellular activity. This reduces pain in the area and speeds recovery of the damaged cells. Once the cells recover, the healing process is complete. What can we treat with Laser therapy? Arthritis, postoperative pain and wound healing, decreased blood circulation, bladder infections, constipated pets, inflamed ears, hip dysplasia, sinusitis, soft tissue sprains/tears including cruciate ligament issues, and so much more. It helps reduce the inflammation associated with anal glands that need expressing. We use the laser after most surgeries. How often does my pet need treatment? Depending on the issue, most owners can see improvement in 1-3 treatments. Some skin and arthritic issues need up to 6 treatments over a couple of weeks, then as needed. |
